Course Overview
The Electrical Works & Installation course is an intensive, hands-on training program designed to equip participants with the technical skills required to install, test, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems for residential, commercial, and light industrial buildings. The course combines electrical theory with extensive practical training in wiring systems, electrical distribution, lighting installation, circuit protection, earthing, motor control, renewable energy integration, and electrical safety in accordance with national electrical codes and industry standards.
Participants will gain practical experience in reading electrical drawings, installing conduits and cables, wiring distribution boards, fitting electrical accessories, testing installations, diagnosing faults, and preparing project documentation. Through workshop sessions and real installation projects, learners will develop the competence to execute safe, reliable, and code-compliant electrical installations for modern construction projects.

Course Requirements
Participants should have:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- An interest in electrical installation, construction, or building services.
- No prior experience in electrical installation is required.
- Basic knowledge of mathematics and construction tools is an added advantage.
- Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including insulated gloves, safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and protective clothing.
- A notebook, calculator, measuring tape, and basic electrical hand tools for practical sessions.
- Willingness to participate in intensive workshop and site-based practical training.
