Course Overview
The Roofing Installation course is an intensive, hands-on training program designed to equip participants with the practical skills required to install, repair, inspect, and maintain roofing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The course covers roof planning, roof framing, installation of various roofing materials, waterproofing, insulation, flashing, gutters, rainwater harvesting systems, and roof maintenance in accordance with industry standards and construction best practices.
Participants will gain practical experience in interpreting roofing drawings, measuring and setting out roof structures, assembling roof frames, installing roof coverings, integrating drainage systems, and conducting quality inspections. Through workshop sessions and live construction projects, learners will develop the competence to execute safe, durable, and weather-resistant roofing installations while adhering to occupational safety regulations and quality standards.

Course Requirements
Participants should have:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- An interest in construction, carpentry, or roofing installation.
- No prior roofing experience is required.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools is an added advantage.
- Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety boots, gloves, hard hat, safety glasses, and fall protection equipment.
- A notebook, calculator, measuring tape, spirit level, and basic roofing hand tools for practical sessions.
- Willingness to participate in intensive workshop and work-at-height practical training.
